Arizona Cardinals activate OL Isaiah Adams, make other roster moves

The Arizona Cardinals made some roster moves on Saturday to prepare for their game on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks. They get a starting offensive lineman back.

The Cardinals activated guard Isaiah Adams from injured reserve. He practiced this week and will return to the starting lineup at right guard.

With that activation, the Cardinals remain at 52 players on the 53-man roster.

They also elevated two players from the practice squad, adding tight end Shawn Bowman and running back Jerome Ford to the roster for the game.

Bowman will serve as the team's fourth tight end. Ford will be the third running back, as Jeremiyah Love was placed on injured reserve this week and Bam Knight has been ruled out of the game with a concussion.

These decisions suggest that defensive lineman Walter Nolen will return to action after missing two games with an ankle injury. He was questionable to play.

Tackle Jayden Williams has been ruled out with a knee injury. Josh Fryar will likely start at left tackle in his place. With Adams returning to the lineup and with guard Jon Gaines ruled out again with knee and ankle injuries, the Cardinals' backup linemen available will be Hayden Conner, Kingsley Eguakun, Jedrick Wills and Albert Reese. Reese has been inactive as a healthy scratch since he was claimed off waivers.

The Cardinals and Seahawks kick off on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET (2:25 p.m. Arizona time) at Lumen Field.
