Aiming to make it three Premier League wins on the bounce, Tottenham Hotspur entertain Crystal Palace for an exciting London derby at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday evening.
Spurs beat newly promoted Coventry City 3-1 at home, and then they picked up an extremely rare win at Stamford Bridge against rivals Chelsea. A clean sheet and strong display in the 2-0 win over Chelsea has massively boosted the Lilywhites’ confidence levels heading into the weekend’s fixture.
Crystal Palace, meanwhile, have been struggling for form under new manager Pierre Sage. The Eagles lost their previous league game at home to Newcastle United but bounced back in midweek by dumping Fulham out of the EFL Cup.
Date: Saturday, 31st October, 2026
Location: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
Time: Kick-off at 18:30 HRS BST
Roberto De Zerbi was dealt a big blow when James Maddison was forced off in the second half with what looked like a groin injury. He is likely to be sidelined for a few weeks. Destiny Udogie has missed the last two games with a knee issue and remains doubtful, but Tottenham could welcome back Tosin Adarabioyo and Lucas Bergvall against Crystal Palace.
Meanwhile, Rodrigo Bentancur will serve the third and final game of his suspension on Saturday.
Dean Henderson returned to action in midweek against Fulham after more than a month on the sidelines due to an ankle injury. Ismaila Sarr remains a doubt due to the continuation of a groin injury that has limited him to a single start in all competitions this season, and there are also question marks over Jorgen Strand Larsen’s availability after he missed out entirely against Newcastle United and Fulham.
Meanwhile, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Quinten Timber and Chadi Riad remain sidelined.
Tottenham: Kinsky; Porro, Van Hecke, Van de Ven, Robertson; Tonali, Fernandes, Gallagher; Tel, Kudus, Marmoush
Crystal Palace: Henderson; Richards, Disasi, Canvot; Khalaili, Wharton, Kamada, Mitchell; McNeil, Pino; Mateta.
The momentum is now with Tottenham, and they will be confident of continuing their ascend in the table on Saturday. Just back-to-back wins has changed the mood around N17, giving De Zerbi and Co. the platform to build upon.
Palace, on the other hand, are in dire form with two defeats and no goals scored in their last two league matches. Sage’s side did well to eliminate Fulham from the EFL Cup fourth round, but they might fall short to match Spurs’ quality and squad depth.
