Tyler Huntley could land on injured reserve

Lamar Jackson has not undergone surgery on his right thumb yet. Ravens coach Jesse Minter said Tuesday that the team will know more in the next couple of days about when Jackson will have the surgery.

The Ravens’ starting quarterback is headed to injured reserve and will miss at least the next four games.

Backup quarterback Tyler Huntley could join Jackson on IR this week.

Minter acknowledged that Huntley is “potentially” a candidate for injured reserve.

Huntley is ruled out this week with turf toe, and his absence is likely multiple weeks.

Undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano, who injured his ankle in his debut on Sunday, will start for the Ravens on Thursday night against the Jaguars.

The Ravens also could place kicker Tyler Loop on injured reserve with a groin issue. Jake Moody will kick for the Ravens on Thursday.
