Jadon Sancho has reportedly received an offer to join Getafe on a free transfer.

The former England winger is without a club after leaving Manchester United in the summer.

Sancho departed Old Trafford at the end of June upon the expiry of his contract.

It followed five years with the Red Devils, which included loan spells at Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea and Aston Villa.

The 26-year-old won the Europa League with the latter last term as well as scoring once in 39 appearances across all competitions.

However, he has yet to find a new home almost four months on from leaving United.

Getafe approach Sancho

That could now be set to change, though, amid interest from Getafe.

According to Sky Germany, the LaLiga outfit have made an approach to sign Sancho on a free transfer.

Their offer is now being discussed by the forward with his representatives.

It comes after Getafe swooped to sign six-time Champions League winner Dani Carvajal earlier this month.

The right-back has penned a deal until the end of the season following his departure from Real Madrid at the end of last term.

Getafe, who finished seventh last season, currently find themselves 14th in LaLiga having won two of their opening eight matches.

Jose Bordalas' side are also competing in the Conference League and face Universitatea Craiova away from home in their opener on Thursday.

Their league phase schedule also includes a visit from Brighton next month and a trip to take on Ajax in December.

Who else has Sancho been linked with?

Getafe are the latest club to show an interest in Sancho in recent months.

His former club Dortmund considered launching a move to re-sign him as recently as last month.

The Bundesliga giants' interest followed an ACL injury to Giannis Konstantelias.

Sancho scored 53 goals and provided 67 assists in 158 appearances for Dortmund across two spells at the Westfalenstadion.

Meanwhile, Al Ittihad previously weighed up bringing Sancho to the Saudi Pro League earlier in the summer.

Qatari side Al Rayyan also made an inquiry back in July but the move failed to materialise.
