Newbridge are chasing a third consecutive Derry Senior Football Championship title for the first time in the club's history.

Magherafelt and Newbridge are set to renew their fierce rivalry on Sunday as they go head-to-head for the O'Neill's Derry Senior Football Championship title at Celtic Park.

The final is a rematch of last year's showpiece, when Newbridge edged a fiercely contested encounter to triumph 1-17 to 1-15 and get their hands on the John McLaughlin Cup.

Newbridge are now targeting a third successive Derry senior title, which would be unprecedented in the club's history, while Magherafelt will be hell-bent on making up for last year's narrow loss and lifting the trophy for the first time since 2019.

Both sides arrive at the final on the back of impressive semi-final wins. Magherafelt overcame Slaughtneil 0-14 to 1-6, while Newbridge put in a dominant performance to dispatch Glen 2-16 to 1-10.
