Chicago Bears and Seattle Seahawks bring USC star QBs to Monday Night

Last season, the Seattle Seahawks took home the Lombardi Trophy and were led to victory by many USC Trojan alumni. One is former USC quarterback Sam Darnold, who became the first Trojan QB to start and win a Super Bowl. Darnold and the Seahawks are coming off a monumental win and looked like their championship-winning team last season when they drilled the Kansas City Chiefs this past Sunday night.

The NFC is open for the taking, but it looks like the Seahawks have a shot to be right back where they were. The Seahawks did not hesitate to improve after their Week 7 win, adding one of the best guards in the NFL: 5-time NFL All-Pro Quenton Nelson. He and Grey Zabel will instantly give the Seahawks one of the best offensive lines in the NFL. Couple that with how good their defense is, and they can beat anyone in the NFL.

The Seahawks are a team to keep an eye on for sure, but so is another team led by another former USC Trojan quarterback. Caleb Williams is playing as well as he has ever. With his ascension, the Chicago Bears are now a legitimate Super Bowl contender.

The Bears get just enough from their defense, led by Dennis Allen, to be able to knock off any team in the NFC. It seems very likely the Bears will make a move on their defense before the deadline to raise their ceiling. Even without that, the Bears have undeniable players on offense. Caleb Williams can make the best defenses look silly. The weapons he has at his disposal, like Luther Burden and Colston Loveland, are both matchup nightmares. Ben Johnson, a top-tier offensive mind, is at the helm of everything.

Both Super Bowl contenders, the Bears and the Seahawks, will get a chance to prove which team is the better team this upcoming Monday night. It will be the top defense in the NFL facing off against the best offense in the NFL. This game could very well end up being the NFC Championship Game in a couple of months. For right now, it will be a great opportunity for Caleb Williams to continue the notion that he is the face of the league, or for Sam Darnold and the Seahawks to prove the NFC may still run through them. Only one team can prevail as the winner, but the real biggest winner will be USC football.
