Ukomadu was waived by Detroit on Saturday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.
Ukomadu appeared in three preseason games for the Pistons, averaging 2.0 points in 5.4 minutes per contest. He will presumably remain with the organization as a member of the Motor City Cruise, the Pistons' G League affiliate.
