FSU star running back Ousmane Kromah was carted off the field in the second quarter in their game against the Miami Hurricanes.
Kromah had an excellent run to FSU's Miami two-yard line on the play, breaking several tackles for the first down. He got twisted up at the end of the play and came up limping, unable to put any weight on his left leg. He eventually went down on the field, with FSU's medical staff putting an air cast on his leg and carting him off.
He has been FSU's No. 1 running back all season and the most important part of the offense. He had 14 carries for 44 yards before leaving with the injury.
Kromah entered the game with 100 carries for 565 yards and five touchdowns. He also has nine receptions for 97 yards. His ability to break tackles has been key for FSU's rushing attack, with the offensive line struggling to consistently open holes for the running backs.
