The kickoff time and TV channel have been confirmed for Arkansas football's Week 9 home game against Missouri on Halloween.
Arkansas football's Week 9 home game against No. 21 Missouri will kickoff at 6:45 p.m. CT on Saturday, Oct. 31, the SEC announced Monday. The game will be broadcast on the SEC Network.
When the SEC schedule was first released, the Razorbacks' game against the Tigers had been designated as a “flex” matchup, which meant it would be either an afternoon or evening kickoff.
Before facing Missouri, Arkansas (3-4, 1-3 SEC) will have its one-and-only open week of the season this weekend.
The Razorbacks created some momentum for the second half of the season by beating Vanderbilt 31-21 in Week 7. The win ended a 14-game losing streak in the SEC, and Arkansas finally laid out a proof of concept on what the program can be under Ryan Silverfield. Now, the mission over the final five games is to continue this trajectory and try to rattle off an SEC upset before the season comes to a close.
Missouri (5-2, 2-2) also had Week 8 off before the upcoming Battle Line Rivalry. The Tigers have had a roller-coaster fall with blowout wins over Florida and Texas A&M, but they have disappointing losses to Mississippi State and Ole Miss.
Arkansas is 4-13 all-time against Missouri and in the midst of a four-game losing streak in the series.
