Victor Osimhen may still see a future in the Premier League(Image: Yagiz Gurtug/PS Images/MB Media/Getty Images)
Victor Osimhen's transfer valuation on Transfermarkt has dropped by £10million just weeks after Arsenal held talks over a potential move.
The Galatasaray striker has continued his run of form in Turkey, making nine goal contributions in five league appearances so far. His ability in front of goal caught the eye of the Gunners years ago when he was still tearing it up in Serie A.
During four seasons with Napoli, Osimhen scored 76 goals and assisted 18 times. He won the league title in the 2022/23 season which led to a loan in Turkey and an eventual transfer to Galatasaray.
His time in Turkey has been extremely fruitful with 84 goal contributions in 80 games. Arsenal first expressed interest in Osimhen in 2024 but reportedly declined to sign him due to his market value at the time.
During that summer transfer window, Napoli were demanding more than £100m for the striker, according to the Mirror. This was out of the Gunners' price range as they were "never prepared" to spend that kind of cash on the centre-forward.
While Mikel Arteta did go on to win the Premier League title last season, he certainly would have enjoyed having Osimhen to choose from with his goalscoring record. At 27, the striker is still firing the goals in and he is now potentially available for much cheaper.

According to Transfermarkt, Osimhen has lost £10m in market value and is now worth £55m (€65m), down from £65m (€75m). The Telegraph reported that in the summer, Arsenal held talks over a potential swap deal with Galatasaray as they were keen on both Gabriel Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri.
Now, Martinelli is at Al-Hilal after joining the Saudi side for £55.7m in the summer. Nwaneri also moved out, albeit on a loan deal, joining Borussia Dortmund for the 2026/27 season meaning for now at least a swap deal has been ruled out.
Osimhen remained in Turkey but with Viktor Gyokeres failing so far this season to hit top form and Kai Havertz still struggling with injuries, Arteta may reignite his interest in the striker by the time the January transfer window rolls around.
