The Pittsburgh Steelers' Week 7 opponents, the New Orleans Saints, just dropped a huge injury update ahead of Sunday's Paris game.
According to Saints general manager Mickey Loomis, rookie first-rounder Jordyn Tyson, who began the season on injured reserve, will not return to practice this week for the Paris matchup against Pittsburgh.
Tyson, who played with Colorado (2022) and Arizona State (2023-2025), was one of the best wide receiver prospects in the 2026 NFL Draft class. During his collegiate career, Tyson recorded 158 catches for 2,282 yards and 22 touchdowns. His injury history was a glaring red flag, however, and it unfortunately has hindered his rookie season in a big way.
The Steelers are also dealing with some concerning wide receiver injuries, specifically Michael Pittman Jr. and Roman Wilson being placed on IR. But the team's second-round rookie Germie Bernard has stepped up in a major way in their absence and should continue to play a huge role in the Week 7 Paris game against New Orleans.
