Here's how cooperation loan from Rangers is working out for me

Kyle Glasgow, part of the under-19 squad, says he and his teammates are in the right frame of mind to collect a result against the Ukrainians in Poland.

Glasgow said: "It's a really nice stadium. It was a long journey, but the boys are looking forward to it.

"Playing in a stadium like this is a really good experience for us as well."

He also highlighted the importance of this experience as part of his development, saying that the opportunity to play on the continent is something that he and his teammates have longed for.

"We’ve seen clips of [the competition] and the players that have played in the Youth League; great players from all across the world," he said.

"I think it's been unfortunate, speaking to the boys in the past few years, to not get the chance to go play in the Youth League.

"The boys are really excited for it, so hopefully we get a result in order to take it back to Scotland."

With the first leg of the match being away from home, he emphasised the importance of staying focused.

"You want to go win the game, but there is the factor of there being a second leg," he said.

"It plays a part, but I think you approach the game the same as a normal game, just go out and win the game and then worry about the second leg after."

At just 16 years old, Glasgow is balancing his loan at Alloa with playing for Rangers' youth team.

He believes the dual role is beneficial for his development, having already earned a spot in the Scotland under-21 squad.

"It’s been really good," he said.

"It's been a really welcoming team which allows me to go and do the stuff that I do on the pitch, so I can’t thank my teammates and the staff at Alloa enough.

"I think playing with Alloa gives me experience that I can bring back here.

"It’s good to play against some of the best young players in the world."
