Cornish Pirates have signed former Ealing back Dan O'Brien for the rest of the season.

The 24-year-old Australian can play across the back three, as well as at centre.

He has returned to the UK after playing for his hometown club Randwick in the Shute Shield.

O'Brien was part of the Ealing side that won the 2024-25 Champ title and is the second new signing in as many days after former Scotland Under-19s hooker Dylan Neill joined the club.

"He's proven at Championship level, versatile across the back three and centre, and most importantly a man of good character," Cornish Pirates joint-head coach Gavin Cattle told the club website.
