The game at the Falkirk Stadium will kick off at 1 pm on Sunday, November 1.

Nicolson will be supported by assistants Frank Connor and Daniel McFarlane, with Duncan Williams and Daniel Graves as assistant VAR and fourth official, respectively.

It's not Nicolson's first time taking charge of a Celtic game this season. He officiated Celtic's 3-0 win over Aberdeen on September 2, where he issued two yellow cards.

Last season, he refereed three of Celtic's league fixtures, all resulting in Celtic victories.

These included a 1-0 win over Dundee on December 3, a 3-2 victory against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park in February, and a 1-0 win against St Mirren in April.

Celtic have won all four games Nicolson has refereed across this season and last.

He also has recent experience at the Falkirk Stadium, having overseen Falkirk's 2-0 home defeat to St Mirren at the beginning of the current Premiership campaign.
