India Women completed a 3-0 T20I series sweep against Zimbabwe Women on October 20, 2026 in Raipur, winning the third and final match by 92 runs. The hosts posted 216 for 7 and then restricted the visitors to 124 for 7 to close out a dominant series.

Harmanpreet Kaur was the centrepiece of India's batting effort, striking 91 off 41 balls with 10 fours and 5 sixes. Shafali Verma provided an explosive platform at the top of the order, scoring 69 off 37 balls with 6 fours and 5 sixes. The pair shared an 84-run partnership that gave India's innings its decisive momentum.

Shafali brought up her half-century off just 26 balls, reaching her 23rd T20I fifty and her ninth of 2026. Nandani Sharma then took three wickets in the final over as India wrapped up Zimbabwe's chase well short of the target. Smriti Mandhana captained the side and did not bat in the match.

How did India build their total of 216 for 7?

Shafali set the tone from the first ball, attacking the Zimbabwe bowling throughout the powerplay and beyond. She brought up her half-century in 26 deliveries before finishing on 69 off 37 balls, an innings that included 6 fours and 5 sixes. Her aggressive approach gave India a strong foundation from which to accelerate.

Harmanpreet took control in the middle and death overs, producing one of the most destructive knocks of the series. Her 91 off 41 balls featured 10 fours and 5 sixes, and the 84-run stand she shared with Shafali was the key passage of play that pushed India towards a formidable total. India eventually posted 216 for 7, a score that proved well beyond Zimbabwe's reach.

How did India's bowlers dismiss Zimbabwe for 124?

Zimbabwe were never in serious contention during their chase of 217, finishing on 124 for 7. Sharne Mayers offered the most resistance for the visitors, scoring 60 in the third T20I, but she did not receive enough support from the rest of the batting lineup to mount a genuine challenge.

Nandani Sharma was the standout bowler for India, taking three wickets, including two in the final over to help seal the match and the series. The clean sweep confirmed India's dominance across all three T20Is played in Raipur during the Zimbabwe Women's tour of India 2026-27, with the hosts winning each game convincingly and never allowing Zimbabwe to build any sustained pressure with bat or ball.
