Hearts vs Rangers injury news: 12 out as McInnes enters Tynecastle cauldron as Vrancken waits on key man

Here is the latest team news ahead of Hearts v Rangers in the Scottish Premiership at Tynecastle on Wednesday night.

Rangers will look to open up a seven-point gap on Hearts when they head to Tynecastle in the Scottish Premiership this Wednesday night (kick-off: 8pm).

Derek McInnes’ side had their seven-game winning run snapped by a draw against Dundee a fortnight ago, but got back to winning ways with a thumping 4-0 win over St Johnstone on Saturday. A Kevin Kelsy brace, followed by strikes from Ryan Naderi and Tochi Chukwuani, kept the pressure on leaders Celtic at Ibrox.

As for Hearts, they soothed the 7-1 thrashing by Celtic by pushing Motherwell further into the mire. Jambos boss Wouter Vrancken had eight first-team players ruled out through injury, but still took all three points at Fir Park thanks to strikes from Claudio Braga and Calvin Miller either side of half-time. But can they repeat the trick when Rangers arrive at Gorgie?
