A classic winter sport has returned to Center Parcs Sherwood Forest, just in time for the colder weather.

Curling was brought back to the popular Nottinghamshire attraction on Thursday, October 29, as part of its seasonal activity line-up.

The New Ollerton-headquartered firm has reintroduced the sport, which gained popularity following this year's Winter Olympics, where Team GB's men won silver.

Taking place at the Sports Plaza, curling offers families the chance to enjoy a little friendly competition in a game of skill, strategy and teamwork.

Players can take turns sliding their curling stones across the lane, aiming to land as close to the target as possible and outscore their opponents.

Played on specially designed, indoor synthetic lanes, guests booking the experience can enjoy all the fun of traditional curling without the need for real ice. Curling can be booked for one-hour sessions.
