Dave Rennie's latest All Blacks squad has sparked a backlash among supporters, with Hurricanes flanker Du'Plessis Kirifi once again missing out.
New Zealand named their 36-man squad for the Nations Championship on Monday, with nine players unavailable through injury.
The announcement has given supporters plenty to discuss ahead of a huge November for the All Blacks.
Richie Mo'unga, Jordie Barrett and Anton Lienert-Brown are among those returning, while Leicester Fainga'anuku has been selected as a loose forward.
But it is one player missing from the squad who has got supporters talking.
Kirifi was recalled as injury cover earlier this month and featured among the replacements for New Zealand's second Bledisloe Cup Test against Australia.
However, the Hurricanes flanker has missed out on Rennie's latest squad.
And supporters were quick to make their feelings known.
One fan wrote: "No Dupes again 😑"
Another added: "No Dupe again..."
A third was even more frustrated: "Omitting Dupes solely based on one game is wild. How do we ever expect Super Rugby form to translate into the AB's when they're not given time to bed in?"
Kirifi was not the only omission to raise eyebrows.
One supporter asked: "What more does Emoni Narawa need to do to be in the team."
Another questioned the absence of Kirifi once again, writing: "Kirifi out again?!!!!!????!!"
The return of experienced centre Anton Lienert-Brown also sparked debate.
One supporter joked: "Done complaining about Anton Lienert Brown, it's pointless 😂 he will feature no matter what."
However, there was plenty of excitement elsewhere in the squad.
Leicester Fainga'anuku's selection among the loose forwards proved particularly popular.
One fan wrote: "Leicester in as a loose forward 👀 let's gooo🔥🔥🔥"
Another celebrated Saula Ma'u's inclusion, simply writing: "Happy for Saula Ma’u."
Despite the criticism, Rennie is confident in the squad he has assembled.
"This is a really strong squad we have selected," he said.
The All Blacks will face Scotland, Wales and England on consecutive weekends before heading into the Nations Championship Finals in London.
With Ardie Savea unavailable through injury, competition for places in the back row has become an even bigger talking point.
