AC Milan are taking on Genoa next and really need to make up for Thursday’s disaster, although it might not be the easiest of tasks. 

Enough has been said about the poor performance against Ferencvaros already, so let’s just leave it at the fact that it was incredibly disappointing. As such, a strong response is needed immediately in the league, taking on Genoa tomorrow.

The Rossoblu have been in very good form lately, winning four of their last five games, after what was a relegation-worthy start to the season. In other words, they have hit their stride just before the Rossoneri clash, which isn’t ideal.

Podcast predictions for Genoa-Milan

In the latest podcast episode, which was recorded the day after the derby win, Oliver, Anthony and Ahmed briefly shared their thoughts on the Marassi encounter.

Since the boys previewed both the Ferencvaros game and the Genoa game in the episode, spending most of the time talking about the derby, their predictions weren’t exactly lengthy. We even got a “whoever plays better will win” from Oliver!

Ahmed: “Milan will win 2-0.”

Oliver: “It’s a tough game, they’ve got a good team with some decent players. Whoever plays better will win (laughs). Jokes aside, this might be a draw with a little bit of European hangover for us.”

Anthony: “Whoever plays better will win, what a prediction… I’m going 2-1 to Milan [prediction added in post].”
