Jake Paul has confirmed that he will return to boxing after suffering a broken jaw and spending more than a year away from the sport.
Back in December 2025, Jake Paul faced his toughest test in the boxing ring, facing off against former world heavyweight champion ‘AJ’ Anthony Joshua.
The British boxer toyed with the YouTuber for a few rounds, with Paul being unable to land a punch in the first three rounds. Joshua put his opponent on the canvas in round five before eventually knocking him out in the sixth round.
Jake suffered a broken jaw as a result of the bout and suggested that he may never step into a boxing ring again. However, he has now confirmed he will fight again.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer will return to the ring on December 24, Christmas Eve, fighting in Dubai.
As it stands, an opponent has not yet been named, but Jake says there are “plenty” of names on his list. “We’ve got plenty of names on the list; let’s see who signs the contract. Merry Christmas, Dubai. Santa Paul is coming to town, and somebody’s getting knocked out,” he said.

Jake, who has a 12-2 record, has long been tipped to fight the likes of KSI, Tommy Fury, and former UFC star Darren Till too.
His feud with KSI goes back years, originating in the pair’s YouTube content. However, the British creator, who recently left The Sidemen, said he has retired for good.
Fury, who handed Jake his first loss, is not in the running, according to The Athletic. The pair have traded verbal jabs since that original fight, with plenty of suggestions that they would have a rematch. That, to this point, hasn’t happened.
As for Till, the Liverpool-born fighter has transitioned into boxing since leaving the UFC and was supposed to fight on the undercard of Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson. Like Fury, he and Jake have traded plenty of shots online and in interviews, so it would make sense.
