Leicester City have been drawn away from home to Oxford City in the FA Cup first round.
The draw, which took place on Monday 19 October, saw the Foxes pitted against the non-league outfit and they will travel there on the weekend of 7-8 November.
Unsurprisingly, this is the first time that Leicester and Oxford City will meet competitively and Russell Martin will hope to avoid an upset. So, who are Leicester’s opponents?
Oxford City are a non-league club currently playing in the National League North, which is the sixth tier of the English football pyramid and the second in the country’s non-league system.
They currently sit third in the table, a point behind league leaders Macclesfield and also play in the same division as fellow Leicestershire side Harborough Town.
Founded in 1884, the Hoops have spent their entire history in the non-league pyramid, with their highest league finish being bottom of the table in the National League during the 2023/24 campaign.
To set up the tie with the Foxes, they beat Torquay United in the fourth qualifying round.
The club play their home games at The MGroup Stadium, Court Place Farm, Marsh Lane, Marston.
It isn’t the biggest of grounds, and it holds up to 3,100 spectators. There is no official number for an away allocation; however, FA Cup rules allow up to 15 per cent of the stadium to be made available for visitors.

This means that if the Foxes were given the full 15 per cent, they would receive a total of 465 tickets, a smaller amount than any League One game they’ll play this season.
The address for the stadium is: Marsh Lane, Marston, Oxford, OX3 0NQ
As it stands, the broadcasters have not confirmed which games will be shown on live TV.
Coverage will be on the BBC and TNT Sports/HBO Max and Discovery Plus throughout the season in the UK whereas ESPN plus holds the rights for any Foxes fans watching in the USA.
A decision is likely to come in the next few weeks.
