The 42-year-old will compete in the men’s class 1 singles and partner Jack Hunter-Spivey in the men’s class 8 doubles when the championships take place in Pattaya from November 13 to 19.
Davies, who became Paralympic champion at Rio 2016, is a five-time European singles champion but has yet to claim the world singles crown.
He came closest when taking silver in 2014 and heads to Thailand having also won a Paralympic silver medal at Paris 2024 and his fifth European singles title in Sweden last year.
Davies took up table tennis after suffering a spinal cord injury while playing semi-professional rugby at the age of 21.
He was introduced to the sport while undergoing rehabilitation at Rookwood Hospital in Cardiff and went on to become one of Britain's leading para table tennis players.

Llanfyllin’s Grace Williams has also been named in the British team for the championships.
The 23-year-old, who is also based in Sheffield, will compete in the women’s class 8 singles and partner Martin Perry in the mixed class 14 doubles.
Williams represented Wales at the 2022 Commonwealth Games before becoming a world doubles champion with Felicity Pickard later that year.
She won silver in the women’s class 8 singles at the 2023 European Championships and repeated that achievement at the 2025 championships.
Britain’s squad also includes reigning men’s class 7 world champion Will Bayley, who will defend the singles title he won in 2022, and women’s class 7 European champion Bly Twomey.
The British team will hold its final training camp at the UK Sports Institute in Sheffield on Wednesday, October 28, ahead of travelling to Thailand.
