The Steelkings are fresh off the back of winning the 2026 British Para Ice Hockey League and Playoff titles, the second year running where they have won both British trophies. Team GB will be a tough opposition, with several Steelkings players amongst their ranks as well lots of other experienced players from around the UK.

The Steelkings will be looking to prove just how good they can play against a team made of some of the UK's best players, while Team GB will want to show their own skills as they look to rebuild their team and re-enter the Para Ice hockey World Championships
