Josh Hokit agrees with Dana White’s assessment that he has had to fight some ‘tough guys’ throughout his UFC run.

‘The Incredible Hok’ has only fought four times in the premier promotion, but this coming November 14, he will fight for the heavyweight title when he takes on Ciryl Gane in the UFC 334 main event.

Despite having only fought four times in the UFC, Dana White admitted to throwing Hokit ‘tough guys’ because of his personal dislike for some of the things the 28-year-old has said in the past.

And now, Josh Hokit has responded to his boss with his own take on run he has had on his way to the UFC title shot.

Do you think Josh Hokit has fought any ‘tough guys’?🤔

Hokit agrees with Dana White’s assessment as he implores him to ‘send anyone you want’

‘The Incredible Hok’ has taken to social media to react to White’s comments, agreeing that he has had to fight some tough fighters. “Send anybody you want just don’t send anybody you want back,” Hokit first said on X.

The 28-year-old then went on to list his four opponents so far and their top credentials. Despite that, though, Hokit isn’t deemed to have fought anyone of note so far, other than Curtis Blaydes. Max Gimenis, who Hokit made his UFC debut against, is 6-2 in professional MMA and despite his extensive grappling record, he isn’t considered to be a top heavyweight as he’s not even ranked in the top 15.

He then fought Denzel Freeman who has only fought twice in the UFC and hasn’t fought since he fought ‘The Incredible Hok’. Freeman is regarded as a higher level opponent than Gimenis having won the LFA heavyweight title on the regional scene.

White has had an issue with Hokit since UFC 327 earlier this year, and at the press conference he admitted that he’s not a fan of the controversial heavyweight. Then after comments Hokit made about Michelle Obama at UFC Freedom 250, White once again criticized Hokit for his comments.

Despite the UFC boss’ comments, he is seemingly coming to terms with the fact that Hokit is a soaring star in the sport, and that he could be just a few weeks away from Hokit being a champion in the promotion, having defended the promotion’s decision to make the fight.
