WWE returns coming soon: Three stars who are preparing to return to the ring on Raw, SmackDown & NXT

A number of stars have made impactful WWE returns this year, from those rejoining the company to others re-establishing themselves following injuries.

While we’re quickly approaching the end of the year, there are still a number of other stars we could soon see step back into a WWE ring.

As we approach Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 43 season, there have been rumors swirling about the next collection of stars who will next show up on TV following extended absences.

From injured Hall of Famers to those who have signed with the company once again, many stars appear to be poised for comebacks.

Here are three stars who we could see make their WWE returns in the coming weeks and months.

Enzo Amore

Following Dave Meltzer reporting on October 6 that Enzo Amore’s WWE return was “pretty much a done deal”, PWInsider has now reported that people backstage believe that Amore signed a new deal with the company over the past week.

While both Meltzer and PWInsider indicated that there has been talk about Enzo Amore rejoining the NXT brand, there are plenty of potential directions for the former Cruiserweight Champion’s return to WWE TV.

Enzo Amore hasn’t wrestled for WWE in almost nine years, last competing for the company in January 18.

With Big Cass previously making his comeback in August, we could also see a reunion between the former teammates.

Brie Bella

Brie Bella made her return to wrestling in January, with the women’s Royal Rumble bout marking her first match in four years.

Bella wrestled regularly following this, and even held the Women’s Tag Team Championship with Paige ahead of suffering a broken scapula (shoulder blade) at SummerSlam on August 1

With the Hall of Famer initially stating that she’d be out of action for three to six months, this would mean that Bella would be preparing to make her return within the next three months, if her recovery was on schedule.

With Nikki Bella previously indicating that she will retire at the end of 2027, the Bella Twins don’t have long to realize their dream of holding the Women’s Tag Team Title together.

Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins hasn’t wrestled a televised match since unsuccessfully challenging for Roman Reigns’ World Heavyweight Championship, also at SummerSlam on August 1.

While he has since wrestled at house shows – competing at the September 9, 10, 11 and 12 South America Live Tour dates – the Visionary has yet to step back into a ring on WWE TV.

Reports from early October indicated that Rollins was dealing with what was described as a “minor injury”, and that WWE was giving him time to heal up, while saving his return for a time when it’d have maximum impact.
