Adrian Yanez is no longer fighting at UFC 334 on Nov. 14 in New York.

The former “Contender Series” standout was expected to battle Juan Diaz next month at Madison Square Garden, but an undisclosed medical condition left him unfit to answer the call. Yanez didn’t specify the issue when addressing his fans earlier today on social media.

“Starting the week off strong,” the 32-year-old quipped. “Humor is my way of coping. Really wanted to fight at MSG, the history there and I wanted to be a part of it. I’ll be back soon though, Lord willing.”

And modern medicine willing.

Yanez (18-6-1) snapped a two-fight losing streak by smashing Cody Garbrandt at UFC 329 back in July. Despite that strong performance, the former Bellator bruiser will need to improve on his recent 2-3-1 record dating back to 2022 if he hopes to crack the division Top 15.

No word yet on whether or not Diaz will remain in the UFC 334 lineup.
