Blackstones secured their first away win of the United Counties League season after an excellent success at Gresley Rovers on Saturday.
The Stamford side ran out 2-1 winners to move up into 12th spot in the 18-team Premier Division North table.
After a goalless first half, they had to hit back after conceding an own goal within four minutes of the second period getting underway.
Fin Rawlings brought back them onto level terms after 53 minutes before top scorer Josh Sennett netted the winning goal midway through the second half.
The two teams had both traded openings in the first period with Sennett seeing a shot tipped to safety by home goalkeeper Brad Catlow.
Ash Garner and Liam Kavanagh were both off target with efforts for the home side who then took the lead four minutes after the break.
Stones had struggled to clear their lines following a corner and a scramble in the box saw the ball turned into the net off Emeer Peets for an own goal on his first start for the club.
The Moatmen nearly added to their tally shortly after with Sam Grouse guiding a shot just past the post.
However, Stones then restored parity within four minutes of going behind as Rawlings turned home a cross from the right.
Gresley could have regained the lead almost immediately but Haydn Brown blazed a good chance over the crossbar.
Stones then struck the decisive strike when Sennett scored his 15th goal of the season.
Gresley pushed for an equaliser and a fine fingertip save from Blackstones goalkeeper Bartosz Berezowski denied George Ludlam.
Ludlam saw another powerful effort repelled by Berezowski while Sennett came close to increasing Stones' advantage but shot wide following a breakaway as they saw out the contest for a vital victory.
