The 24-year-old remains undefeated after a convincing points victory over Costa Rican Jose Aguirre at the Manchester Arena on Saturday night.
Alex Jnr was boxing on the undercard of compatriot - and close friend - Willy Hutchinson's world light heavyweight rematch against Joshua Buatsi, a duel the Scotsman won by a unanimous decision to claim his crown.
For now, Arthur has jetted off to Spain to enjoy some downtime in the sun before plotting he next move when he returns home.
"In regards to my own performance, I'm happy," Alex Jnr said. "He was tough and durable. He brought out another side to my style and I left a good taste in people's mouths. I had a tremendous response from the crowd and people who came to support me and others across social media, so they must have liked something. And I'm sure it wasn't just the handsome looks and ginger hair!
"Manchester was amazing and I can't wait to be back out again, it really is some buzz. But, in the meantime, you can catch me with some ice cream and pizza - until the phone rings, of course!"
As for Hutchison, who was born in Carstairs, Arthur couldn't be more happy for the 28-year-old.
"I can't quite put into words how happy I am for Willy - more so than I am for myself," he said. "He's like a big brother to me and I know how much it means to him."
