To be the man, you have to drink like the man. And for Paul Heyman, he learned firsthand what that was like from Ric Flair during their one and only drinking session together. Trying to repair a strained relationship after creative differences in WCW, the WWE Hall of Famer recalls how he survived a night of drinking with the former 16-time World Champion, in order to bury the hatchet.

"As customary back then in this business, he says, 'Where are you staying?' I was staying at the same hotel as Ric was staying. He says, 'See you in the bar. Drinks are on me. Woo!' Oh, my God, here we go," Heyman recounted on "In Depth with Graham Bensinger." "I'm not a drinker at all, and Ric Flair can drink. Ric Flair can outdrink a platoon of Marines. There's no way to outdrink them. Only Andre the Giant. I don't know of anybody else that could keep up with Ric Flair. There's just no way, and I had to keep up with him. I felt horrible the next day. Oh, my God, I'm drinking pickle juice and salted popcorn to absorb the alcohol. But I survived the night at the bar drinking with Ric Flair."

Since earning Flair's respect that night, Heyman and "The Nature Boy" found a way to remain on the same page both personally and professionally after. Speaking of Flair, the Hall of Famer is currently recovering from a bad fall that happened last week. Leaving a Tampa, Florida bar, Flair fell as he was walking across the street, suffering multiple injuries, including cuts to his head and eye.
