BBC Scotland will undoubtedly have annoyed Rangers fans following their post about Celtic and the Light Blues on Thursday.

Both Old Firm sides were held to 2-2 draws in the Scottish Premiership on Wednesday night, with Rangers drawing to Hearts, while the Hoops dropped points at home to Dundee United.

However, the framing of the BBC headlines shows a clear bias against the Ibrox outfit, and that is something the supporters will not be too pleased with.

Which of these four Rangers players let you down the most vs Hearts and why?

BBC make it seem like Rangers dropped points while Celtic battled hard to win a point

BBC Scotland were clever with their usage of headlines after the games on Wednesday, showing their favouritism towards one team. They stated that Rangers were the ones who rescued a point as Derek McInnes faced a hostile reception at Tynecastle, while Celtic came back from being down to draw against an in-form team.

By this, they were clearly showing that the Hoops had it harder than the Gers, when in fact it was a tougher outing for the 55-time champions as they visited the team that nearly won the league last season. Celtic, on the other hand, would have had a home game against Dundee United as a must-win game, and it was not an ideal result for them.

At the start of the season, if McInnes was given a point from the first away game against Hearts, there was a very good chance he would have taken it. Also, if Martin O’Neill was told that his team would only get a point at home against Dundee United, he would have wanted to play the game instead.

Also, the framing of the two headlines is baffling, as Hearts are actually ahead of Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership table. Wouter Vrancken’s side sit in third place with 20 points and are four points clear of Jim Goodwin’s side in fifth place.

Fans always knew that the BBC had an agenda against the club, but now they’re not even being coy about it.
