João Neves (22) has revealed an ambition to remain at Paris Saint-Germain for the remainder of his playing career. The Benfica academy product has said that he has no intention of moving to either Spain or England.

Neves joined PSG back in the summer of 2024. In his two full seasons with Les Parisiens, he has won the UEFA Champions League twice. He is a key figure in Luis Enrique’s midfield alongside compatriot Vitinha. Despite a difficult start to the current campaign, he has made 11 appearances in all competitions, and against Villarreal on Tuesday night, he netted his first goal of the season.

Ahead of that game, Neves spoke to Canal Plus. He revealed an ambition to see out his career at the Parc des Princes. “João wants to stay here his whole career,” he said.

“I don’t have the objective of going to Spain or England. I have an objective, and it is to feel good in my life and to win here.” Neves recently extended his contract at PSG. His new deal runs until the summer of 2031. Since joining the French club, he has played 108 times, scoring 15 goals and registering 16 assists.
