WWE stars to be removed from roster: ‘Current superstars’ that could be moved to alumni section of official roster page

The active roster page on WWE.com is often a good indicator of a talent’s status within the company, with those who reach the end of their time in WWE usually being changed from a “current superstar” to an “alumni.”

When looking at the current roster, there are many names that haven’t been seen on TV in quite some time and could soon be removed.

Here are five WWE stars to potentially be removed from the current roster page:

Shane McMahon

Despite it now being well over three years since his last WWE appearance at WrestleMania 39 – and him holding talks with AEW President Tony Khan in 2024 – Shane McMahon is still listed on WWE’s roster page.

This is a puzzling one for sure, as one would think he would not be in a position to talk to Khan if he was under a WWE contract, yet his placement on the roster page suggests he’s with WWE in some way. Maybe WWE just forgot he’s there? Whatever the case, it wouldn’t come as a shock to see Shane-O-Mac moved to the alumni page at some point in the future.

Tamina

It has somehow been even longer since WWE fans last saw Tamina compete inside a ring, with her last appearance coming on the February 27, 2023 taping of Main Event where she lost to Michin.

Despite that, Tamina is still listed on WWE’s roster page and Fightful Select reported in July 2025 that she was still under contract with the company. There has been no more recent updates on her status, but until she gets shifted to the alumni page we will have to assume she’s still signed.

Maryse

Maryse is someone who has appeared on WWE TV sporadically in recent years, with her most recent appearance being a run-in with Danhausen when “The Very Nice, Very Evil” star invaded The Miz’s family home back in April.

While she will likely always be affiliated with WWE whilst The Miz is still active, it has been almost five years since Maryse last wrestled, so having her featured on the current roster page seems a bit unusual.

Ludwig Kaiser, Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate

A three in one inclusion now, and despite now playing the roles of El Grande Americano, Rayo Americano & Brave Americano respectively, Ludwig Kaiser, Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate are still all listed as themselves on the WWE roster page.

Given the success of the El Grande American character it is highly unlikely that any of these three will be ditching the masks any time soon, so removing their original profiles from the WWE page wouldn’t be a surprise.

Keanu Carver

Keanu Carver was reportedly released by WWE in early October after being served with an order of protection to prevent him contacting an unnamed member of the WWE NXT roster.

While Carver hasn’t appeared on WWE TV since this news came out, he is still currently listed as a “current superstar” on WWE’s roster page at the time of writing. If he is indeed gone from the company as reports have suggested however, this should soon change.
