Fourteen-year-old Maci Robinson, who attends Camborne Science and International Academy, secured an impressive top-10 finish at the Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) at Birmingham's NEC.
Maci qualified for the event earlier this year with her loaned Shetland pony, Blackertor Boston, affectionately known as Bob.
The pair spent months competing at qualifiers across the country, before securing their place at the event, which ran from 7-11 October.

Reaching the Horse of the Year Show is a major achievement in itself, with competitors vying for places throughout the season before "the biggest week of the year for equestrian entertainment", as described by organisers.
For Maci, the opportunity to ride in the famous "Arena of Dreams" was the culmination of years of dedication and hard work.
The teenager balanced her training around school commitments, spending countless hours riding and schooling Bob before and after classes, often in difficult weather conditions, to prepare for the biggest show of the year.
Impressing the judges with her individual show, Maci claimed an outstanding eighth place overall.
To add to the celebrations, Bob was also awarded Best Gelding.
Maci's mother, Lucy, said the family could not be prouder of her achievement.
