“It’s a fluid process” – Milan offered Endrick hope by comments from agency president

Endrick’s future at Real Madrid remains uncertain ahead of the January transfer window, as a representative of Roc Nation Sports has admitted.

AC Milan are one of the clubs that have been linked with a January loan swoop for the Brazilian forward, having tried to sign him in the summer too before ultimately being told no by Real Madrid. Given Endrick’s lack of playing time, the opportunity may open up this time.

A fluid process

Roc Nations Sports International president Michael Yormack gave an interview to SportsBoom and he suggested that the current situation – with regards to his minutes played (or lack of) – is something that is not ideal.

“I think it’s a fluid process. I think we have to see how things go from now until the end of the year, before the next transfer window. I visited him a few weeks ago in Madrid; we had a great chat, he’s eager to play, so we’ll see what happens,” he said.

“He loves Madrid, he loves the team, and his teammates, but at the end of the day when you think about the lifespan of a career, it’s short, and he wants to maximise it. I think his first choice would be to stay at Real Madrid, but he’s got to play.

“Obviously he came in two games ago, scored a late goal [vs Roma], then started the last game [league game vs Sevilla], so hopefully there’s some momentum for him.”

That goal came in one of the most dramatic nights of Real Madrid’s Champions League campaign so far. Introduced alongside Arda Güler in place of Denzel Dumfries and Vinicius Junior, Endrick helped turn a 3-1 deficit in Rome into a 4-3 win and was crowned Man of the Match.

His header from a Güler corner was spilled for Carlos Espí to score, before he headed in the 85th-minute equaliser himself, with Antonio Rüdiger completing the comeback. He had played only sparingly up to that point, then he started four days later against Sevilla.
