Alisson Becker was seen furiously shouting at Jeremy Jacquet for his role in Fenerbahce's opening goal in the clash with Liverpool, as the defender was at fault with a key error made.
It followed a relatively positive start for the Reds in Istanbul, as the visitors took control with the ball, creating a few early opportunities to show for the dominance they had.
That dominance turned into a lead when a headed clearance found Trey Nyoni, with the youngster letting fly from the edge of the box, finding the back of the net to continue his fine run of form in the team.
The lead only lasted four minutes, however, as the home side roared back. There were several quick chances in close succession, until a free-kick on the edge of the box presented a clear shooting opportunity for Mason Greenwood.
The former Manchester United forward took aim, and while it appeared to be a poor attempt, which was set to strike the wall, it took a wicked deflection and found the back of the net instead, totally wrongfooting Alisson in the process.
An error from Jacquet appeared to be crucial in the goal, as he turned his body in the wall, allowing the ball to creep through while striking him. Had he kept his body upright without moving, the strike would have been stopped, and Liverpool could have kept the lead for a while longer.
Alisson was left furious with the French defender, shouting at him after the ball went into the back of the net, making his feelings clear on a preventable goal to concede.
"Alisson won't be happy with his wall. Jacquet turns his back on it," Ally McCoist said on TNT Sports after the incident. "You have to stand up and take it!
"Alisson is livid, and with a lot of justification! He [Jacquet] is side on. That is not good defending from someone who is having a good season."
It was a goal that changed the tide of the first half, as Fenerbahce grew in confidence and began to create chances at will despite the positive start that Liverpool had made.
"It is self inflicted," former Reds star Steve McManaman added on TNT Sports during the break. "It is an awful goal with a big gap in the wall. It should never happen. The big centre half turning his back like that. Very poor."
It's the first real mistake from Jacquet in a positive start to the campaign, with the defender certainly hoping that the error doesn't prove costly by the end.
With the small details still missing in the attacking phase at times for Liverpool, Iraola could do without those small errors that could change games in the defence.
