Musah says Milan must ‘fix some small details’ to build on win against Salzburg

Yunus Musah spoke to the media ahead of tonight’s game at Atalanta, stating that he’s happy to be such a key player for AC Milan’s midfield.

After a job well done in Austria earlier in the week, Milan now need to get back to winning ways in the league as well. A somewhat struggling Atalanta are the opponents and Ruben Amorim has made seven changes to the starting eleven, effectively reverting the rotation.

Musah is one of the players starting and he will surely aim to do a better job than his performance against Sassuolo. We felt he was misused by Amorim in that game as he often dropped down in the build-up, which isn’t his strength.

Musah’s pre-match comments

Speaking to Sky Italia just a few minutes ago, as transcribed by MilanNews, the American discussed his role in the team and Milan’s current form. The Rossoneri certainly picked themselves up against Salzburg, but a win is needed tonight too.

Is this the first time that you’re such a protagonist at Milan?

“I’ve had moments in which I have been a key player. Now I’m happy with the current situation. We have a big match ahead of us, and we need to approach it with great focus.”

What are your thoughts on the form?

“We are playing well and we need to fix some small details. We are continuing along the lines of the Salzburg game,” he concluded.
