Christian McCaffrey scored his second touchdown of the game for the San Francisco 49ers against the Washington Commanders to make it 20-3 at halftime.
It seems like every year, the San Francisco 49ers deal with a lot of injuries. This year is no exception, with wide receiver Mike Evans going to the locker room with an apparent injury one minute before halftime against the Washington Commanders.
Still, the 49ers found a way to finish the drive as running back Christian McCaffrey going into the end zone for the touchdown after San Francisco had their second fourth-down conversion of the night to make their lead 20-3 just before halftime.

Washington also suffered a wide receiver injury. Stefon Diggs was already banged up and appeared to injure his hand. Then, their top receiver, Terry McLaurin, had to be carted off the field and has been ruled out with a knee injury. Currently, their best healthy receiver is rookie Antonio Williams.
The Commanders will get the ball to start the second half with a chance to cut into San Francisco’s three-possession lead.
