Arsenal travel to Nottingham Forest on Sunday looking to make it three wins in a row since the defeat at Brighton.
The City Ground hasn’t been a happy place for Mikel Arteta, though. He’s won just one of his five visits as Arsenal manager, and last season’s trip ended in a frustrating goalless draw.
“We’ve responded really well in the past two games, two very good performances and results,” Arteta said in his pre-match press conference. “Now we focus on Forest and it will be a real tough one.”
Arsenal have a big week ahead, with a trip to Bayern Munich in the Champions League to follow, and Arteta gave an update on four players who are currently sidelined.
Piero Hincapie and Martin Zubimendi both picked up ankle injuries in the post-match warm-down after the win over Leeds, with Hincapie carried off the pitch. Neither was involved against Lille on Tuesday.

Hincapie looks set to miss Sunday’s game and could be a doubt for Munich too. “Piero is evolving really well as well, knowing his character and the way he pushes everybody, it’s not going to take long I don’t think, probably another week or two,” Arteta said.
Zubimendi’s injury was always thought to be less serious, and he has a chance of making the trip to Forest. “Zubi is doing much better, we have another session tomorrow, let’s see how he evolves,” Arteta added.
Christos Tzolis, who picked up a hamstring injury on international duty, is also making progress. “Doing really well, had an MRI scan yesterday and he’s progressing really well, another one we can hopefully have back in a few weeks,” Arteta said.
William Saliba, of course, is yet to play this season after suffering a back injury following the World Cup, and could be targeting a return in late November. “Next week we have another MRI to see how he’s progressing,” Arteta said of the defender.
