The state of Texas featured a pair of high-profile matchups that were going to force some changes in this week's Southwest rankings no matter what way they went.
Out in Houston, one program picked up a statement win and the other game near Dallas nearly featured a comeback for the ages. As for the rest of the top programs in the region, this week was business as usual as they all rolled to double-digit victories.
Here are USA TODAY Sports' Week 11 Southwest Region Super 15 rankings.
Not only did sophomore quarterback Ty Snell throw for 255 yards and four touchdowns in the Eagles' 77-14 win over Jesuit (TX), but he also added 96 yards and three touchdowns on the ground with just four carries. The win was the third consecutive game where Allen scored 70 or more points.
Another week with no drama for the Panthers. They limited Skyline to 142 total yards of offense as the Panthers rolled to a 75-3 victory.
In a battle of Houston's top two Class 6A teams, King did something its never done before: beat North Shore. Led by five total touchdowns from senior quarterback Khylan Davis, the Panthers had no issues dispatching the Mustangs 42-21 for their first win over the Houston-area program in 11 tries.
Waxahachie led by 21 in the first half and had to withstand a second half comeback without quarterback Jerry Meyer III to beat Duncanville (TX) 35-28. The Panthers had a chance to tie the game late, but the Indians’ defense sacked Duncanville quarterback Maximus Denson to secure the win.
The Spartans did all of their damage in the first half against Edmond North, scoring all 56 points of their 56-7 win over the opening 24 minutes. They rushed for 442 yards and six touchdowns as a team.
Texas five-star running back commit Landen Williams-Callis had another big night for the Lions, rushing for four touchdowns in a dominant 51-3 win over Freeman (TX). The Lions have been on a tear, outscoring their last three opponents 419-38.
The Mustangs got off to a slow start but scored a late touchdown in the first half to make their game against King an eight-point deficit at the half. They had no answers to stop Davis and the Panthers in the second half.
The Tigers' streak of winning in blowout fashion continued into Friday night as they easily made their way past Southmoore (OK) 57-0. Now they face their biggest challenge of the year, hitting the road to take on Bixby.
The Eagles once again could not be stopped as they crushed McKinney Boyd (TX) 64-7. Led by 120 yards from Tommy Sherman, they rushed for 292 yards and seven touchdowns as a team in the win.
With four-star Texas Tech commit SaRod Baker player quarterback, the Eagles have figured something out as they rolled over Cedar Hill (TX) 51-6. Baker threw a touchdown and 70 yards to compliment his 123 yards and another touchdown on the ground.
The streak of games with 60 or more points scored may have ended but the blowout streak did not as the Golden Bears rolled over Adamson (TX) 52-0. It was total domination for South Oak Cliff as they accounted for nearly 400 yards of offense while Adamson -4 yards offense.
For a half, the Dragons had some struggles against Byron Nelson (Trophy Club, TX) before scoring 22 points en route to a 38-10 win. Dez Bryant Jr. added another touchdown in a win where the Dragons were outgained 222-172.
No drama this week for the Bruins. Scoring 35 points in the second quarter, Cherry Creek rolled over Mullen (CO) 45-0 for its eighth win of the season.
The Titans had last week off.
