Shavkat Rakhmonov has delivered a positive training update amid fresh concerns over his UFC comeback.
The undefeated welterweight contender hasn’t fought since beating Ian Machado Garry at UFC 310 in December 2024, with knee problems keeping him on the sidelines.
Recent reports suggested Shavkat Rakhmonov had suffered another setback in his recovery, potentially delaying his return until 2027.
However, the 19-0 star has now shared an encouraging message about his progress in training, though he stopped short of directly addressing the latest injury claims.
On Sunday, Shavkat Rakhmonov took to X to share a positive message about his training progress amid uncertainty surrounding his UFC return.
“Another week of hard training done,” he wrote.
“Getting stronger every single day.”
The 32-year-old’s comments suggest he remains confident about his recovery, despite recent reports raising questions about the condition of his knee.
However, Rakhmonov did not directly address claims that he had suffered another setback or confirm whether he is back to training without restrictions.

Shavkat Rakhmonov hasn’t confirmed a date for his long-awaited return to the Octagon.
Recent reports have suggested that the Kazakh fan favorite may not fight again until June 2027.
Michael Morales previously expressed interest in welcoming Rakhmonov back to MMA.
UFC CEO Dana White also addressed speculation about the potential fight in October, but stopped short of confirming it.
However, Morales is now set to face Carlos Prates for the interim welterweight title in the UFC 336 co-main event on January 30.
The winner is expected to clash with undisputed champion Islam Makhachev in a title unification bout, leaving Rakhmonov without a confirmed opponent as he works towards his comeback.
