Jersey Bulls took their unbeaten run in the Isthmian League up to 30 matches after a 1-0 win over Moneyfields.
The victory - second-placed Bulls’ fifth in six games - moves them to within a point of Isthmian League South Central leaders Bognor Regis Town.
The islanders last lost a regular season game on 30 December.
The hosts got off to a great start as James Sunley powerfully finished Tony Ritzema’s sixth-minute low ball from the right to put Bulls ahead.
The impressive Ritzema was at the centre of two good chances in the space of a minute soon after - first teeing up Lorne Bickley who blazed over before having a close-range header saved on the line.
Moneyfields grew into the game as the first half wore on, but struggled to fashion a clear cut chance before Sammy Henia-Kamau and Bickley had efforts saved for Jersey.
Moneyfields striker Sam Ashton had a good low effort saved 20 minutes into a tame second half - but that was their best chance as they were unable to beat Euan van der Vliet in the Bulls goal.
The island side thought they had got a second goal in the first minute of stoppage time when Jamie Watling headed in Luke Watson's corner, but the effort was disallowed.
Moneyfields were reduced to 10 men in the eighth minute of stoppage time when their captain Tom Cain was sent off for a dangerous tackle on Bulls substitute Fraser Barlow.
