Wolves defender Yerson Mosquera made a return to training after suffering from illness in recent days.
Mosquera played the full 90 minutes of Wolves’ dramatic comeback victory over Bristol City in midweek, partnering Ladislav Krejci in central defence.
But boss Cesar Peixoto revealed the defender had been unwell ahead of Wolves’ Championship trip to Wrexham on Saturday.
Mosquera returned to training on Friday ahead of Wolves’ final game before the international break and is expected to be available for the trip.
“Yerson stayed sick during the week, but otherwise it is all the same,” Peixoto said when asked about injury concerns within his squad.
He added: “He (Mosquera) started to train today, but on Thursday he was sick. A virus or something.”
Wolves will be without midfielder Jordan James, who has suffered a hamstring injury and missed the win at Bristol City. The hope is that he will return to training after the international break.
“Jordan, I hope after the break, that he will start to train with us,” Peixoto said.
Bertrand Traore and Boubacar Traore have both recently returned to training following hamstring and calf injuries respectively.
Peixoto says the international break will provide the pair with a valuable opportunity to build their fitness and work towards a return to the side.
He said: “They started to train with us. They don’t feel any problems, they are well.
“They have to try to find the right rhythm of training to become an option for the games. They have two weeks to train with us.
“We are happy with that, and they are more happy because they have trained with the team. And now we have an opportunity with this international break to push them to stay fitter and an option for the future.”
