Alan ‘Zab’ Zablockyj tragically lost his life on Sunday, 25 October, at the age of 69.
After conversations between some supporters of both sides and staff at Watford, the Hornets will pay respects to the fallen fan at halftime of Tuesday's match.
A statement online paid tribute to Alan and his lifelong affection for Tuesday's visitors, the Imps.
"Alan lived his whole life in Lincoln and first attended Sincil Bank in the 1960’s. He has followed the club all of his life.
"He didn’t just follow the club through the glory days of Graham Taylor and those in recent years.
"As a most ardent and loyal fan, he continued to follow them when the club slipped out of the Football League for the one season in the 1980’s and six long years between 2011-2017.
"He travelled all over the country to football outposts places such as Eastleigh and Hyde.
"Zab travelled even when he was receiving treatment for several forms of cancer including throat, neck, skin and finally several brain tumours.
"His passion encouraged other fans to travel and he began to organise away coaches known as Zab’s Travels.
"Zab was an unassuming, humble man who looked out for others rather than himself.
"Affectionately known as Mr Lincoln, he will be sorely missed by the thousands of people in Lincoln.
"God rest his soul
"RIP Zab."
