The Los Angeles Rams and Philadelphia Eagles were expected to meet in the NFC Championship Game by oddsmakers, but now look close to seeing their season come apart.

Both teams have a 2-4 record through their first six games, a few losses away from being out of playoff contention, knowing they cannot afford too many more slip-ups. But for both teams, the losses may be unavoidable, given the players they have lost and the tough games on their schedules.

The Eagles' season, unfortunately, may already be over after the nightmare three weeks they've had. Philadelphia is set to be without Jalen Hurts for the rest of the season, while also seeing Lane Johnson retire and trading away Cam Jurgens.

Meanwhile, the Rams lost three key players in their loss to the Arizona Cardinals, with Davante Adams ruled out for potentially two months.

Mirror U.S. Sports has looked at the Eagles and Rams' season so far.
