The Houston Texans defense is starting to shut down the New York Giants offense in the second half. On the Giants’ opening drive of the second half, they got down to Houston’s 32-yard line. But, cornerback Kamari Lassiter got his first sack in his NFL career to knock New York out of field goal range and force them to punt.
Here is a look at Lassiter’s sack, courtesy of the Texans’ official social media:
Houston was forced to punt on their first drive of the second half, giving the ball back to the Giants’ offense, although they had to punt again after the Texans' defense had another stop on third down. The game is tied 14-14 after the Texans were able to get their first touchdown of the game just before halftime.
Houston’s defense has struggled a little in the pass game, but it now has two sacks on Giants quarterback J.J. McCarthy.
