Le Havre AC have officialised the departures of manager Didier Digard and president Jean-Michel Roussier. The decision comes with Le HAC rock bottom of Ligue 1 with just two points from their opening nine games of the season.

Le Havre confirmed that they are currently negotiating Digard’s exit, whilst he has been relieved of his position as manager of the first team. Roussier, meanwhile, who joined back in 2022, has resigned from his role. It is thought that he was against the decision to sack Digard, which came from owners Blue Crow. His resignation has been tendered and will be confirmed on 5th November, after which a new President-CEO will be appointed, the club said in a statement on Saturday night.

Les Ciel et Marines also confirmed that Jair Karam, the head of the Normand club’s academy, would take charge of the first team on an interim basis. Their next match comes against FC Lorient next Sunday.
