Back to back defeats to Arsenal and Fenerbahce have punctured the growing optimism being felt at Liverpool under Andoni Iraola, and have made Sunday's tip to Crystal Palace suddenly feel even more important.
With the match falling before an international break, Iraola and the Reds will be desperate to sign off for a fortnight with three points, with hosts Palace coming into the weekend in the relegation zone as manager Pierre Sage comes under huge pressure.
But who should Liverpool select for the clash in south London?
Our Reds writers name their teams here...
Having made five changes for Wednesday's defeat to Fenerbahce, I am expecting a similar raft for today's trip to Selhurst Park.
In comes October's player of the month, Ronald Araujo, alongside Milos Kerkez, who replace Joe Gomez and Kostas Tsimikas, respectively.
In midfield, the big question is whether Trey Nyoni is ready to start a third game in a week. It's a demanding schedule for a 19-year-old still adjusting to the intensity of the Premier League but given the international break is around the corner, I am going to name him alongside Alexis Mac Allister
Florian Wirtz returns to the No.10 role and I am taking out Bradley Barcola and restoring Cody Gakpo. Rio Ngumoha keeps his place and Alexander Isak starts.
My team (4-2-3-1): Alisson; Araujo, Jacquet, Van Dijk, Kerkez; Nyoni, Mac Allister; Ngumoha, Wirtz, Gakpo; Isak
After two successive defeats, the prospect of a trip to Crystal Palace is enough to fill any Liverpool supporter with dread.
In fact, any trip to Crystal Palace is sufficient to do that regardless of if there have been 15 wins or defeats beforehand.
What, then, is Reds boss Andoni Iraola to do?

Despite an iffy showing in Istanbul in midweek, Alisson Becker stays in goal. Jeremy Jacquet and skipper Virgil van Dijk continue at centre-back, but Milos Kerkez is in at left-back and Ronald Araujo at right-back.
In midfield, Alexis Mac Allister is retained but there are changes, with Ryan Gravenberch joining him at the base of midfield and Florian Wirtz the number 10.
Up top, Alexander Isak is in down the centre, Bradley Barcola can move to the left and Cody Gakpo is on the right.
My team (4-2-3-1): Alisson; Araujo, Jacquet, Van Dijk, Kerkez; Gravenberch, Mac Allister; Gakpo, Wirtz, Barcola; Isak.
After back-to-back defeats, and some pretty poor defending in Istanbul, Liverpool really need to return to winning ways against Crystal Palace.
Fenerbahce was not a good night for the two Reds centre-backs, but Jeremy Jacquet and Virgil van Dijk both retain their places with the changes coming on the flanks as Ronald Araujo and Milos Kerkez return.
In midfield, Dominik Szoboszlai drops out after a poor showing in Turkey on his return from injury. Instead, Trey Nyoni can be handed his third start in a row alongside Alexis Mac Allister.
Starting Bradley Barcola upfront against Fenerbahce didn’t work. There will be no repeat of that here. The Frenchman reverts to his favoured left wing, with Alexander Isak back to lead the line.

Florian Wirtz returns at number 10, but Rio Ngumoha can keep his place. The big-money Liverpool front four has not clicked so far, so I’d start the youngster after he was a rare bright spark in midweek to see if he can breathe a little more life into the Reds offensively following some encouraging showings in the Champions League.

As indicated by some of his comments before the match, Andoni Iraola will expect a proper Premier League battle on Sunday afternoon at Selhurst Park. And his team should be selected accordingly.
Alisson Becker will start in goal in south London, with Ronald Araujo returning to the side at right-back, Jeremy Jacquet partnering Virgil van Dijk in the centre and Milos Kerkez back in at left-back.
Trey Nyoni gets to go again in midfield alongside Alexis Mac Allister, and in the name of increased physicality there's a start for Dominik Szoboszlai wide on the right, Florian Wirtz as the No.10 and Cody Gakpo off the left.
Alexander Isak will of course be up top, with Bradley Barcola, Rio Ngumoha and Victor Munoz all offering pace and energy in reserve.
