Poll: Would you start Erling Haaland vs Aston Villa after last week's knock?

Erling Haaland was an unused substitute against AEK Athens in midweek after picking up a knock in the win over Ipswich.

If you had to pick one Manchester City player you didn't want to be injured then surely it would be Erling Haaland.

City's star striker picked up a knock against Ipswich Town in the Premier League on Saturday and subsequently sat out the Champions League thrashing of AEK Athens.

Enzo Maresca declared Haaland fit after the win over the Greek side, and it's a timely boost for City ahead of their clash with an Aston Villa side who have won six of their last seven games. Antoine Semenyo's long-term lay-off means Haaland is more important to City than ever.

But would you throw the Norwegian goal machine back in from the start this weekend? Is it too much of a risk to start him on the bench again? Or do you think it's a gamble potentially asking him to play a full 90 minutes so soon after picking up a knock and so starting him from the bench is the best course of action?
