The big event this week will take place on Friday October 30 in the form of 'Beat Luke Littler', where wannabe amateurs will aim to topple the darting phenom in one leg of 501 to win £501,000.

It will be shown live on Netflix. If one of the finalists wins a leg of darts, they will take home £501,000. Littler has to win every leg in order to survive, and the game will end if he is defeated.

Albeit it has received some criticism from certain junctures this week due to the fact that Littler will face multiple already known entities. Including Fallon Sherrock, the Queen of the Palace, who of course previously won multiple games on the Ally Pally stage. At one point Sherrock was as famous as Littler was in his early days of sporting stardom.

While someone who will aim to become that will be Mitchell Lawrie, also known as Wee Sox, who is a former WDF World finalist and ironically reportedly has a better seasonal average than Littler, cleaning up on JDC and WDF Tours. He cannot play the main tour darts yet due to his age but is set to try and step up next season.

Mitchell Lawrie will face Littler.

As well as being shown in front of a live television audience, it will be shown on Netflix live worldwide on Friday, October 30, from 7pm GMT. This will be done at the Manchester Central Convention Complex.

It will be hosted by Gary Lineker as well as Richard Osman, and the players will face off against Littler live on one of the only weekends ironically that Littler will not play for the rest of the year.
