Sunday’s late-afternoon window on CBS averaged 26.368 million viewers

The late-afternoon window on Sunday continues to generate the biggest audiences for NFL viewing.

In Week 6, the CBS 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff — which had Bills-Raiders and Chargers-Chiefs both getting extensive distribution — racked up 26.368 million viewers.

It was the most-watched broadcast on any network for the week.

Usually, the 4:25 p.m. ET window is dominated by one specific game. The split between two of the NFL’s most popular teams and two of its best quarterbacks combined to deliver, across the board.

This week, Fox has the 4:25 p.m. ET games, with Packers-Lions undoubtedly getting top billing. The other game at 4:25 p.m. ET is Rams-Raiders.
